I have a love/hate relationship with summer. How about you? I love that the kids are out of school and we have a more relaxed schedule. I love that we can sleep in and go to the pool every day. But I REALLY don’t like the heat. Especially here in Phoenix, it gets so hot and yucky, it’s absolutely unbearable. It can actually get up to 120 degrees here – that’s insane! In the summer, you have to find ways to stay cool. One of my favorite ways to cool off is with an iced coffee drink. Allow me to introduce you to my favorite homemade iced chai tea latte recipe!
In the summer, I am all about frozen and iced drinks and this iced chai tea latte recipe tops them all! I hate to say it, but I love this version even more then the original hot version. With fresh ginger, cardamon, cinnamon and instant coffee, this cool, flavorful drink recipes is the perfect summertime treat!
I made myself one of these yummy drinks this morning to take to work and it was definitely something I will do more often. Not only was I ready to take on the day after enjoying my latte, but all my co-workers were jealous!
