It is easy to tell it’s October. The leaves are changing from green into beautiful shades of gold and red, pumpkins line the store shelves, and the kids are discussing their up-coming Halloween costumes. It’s definitely a fun month.
October is meaningful for another reason as well – it’s breast cancer awareness month. If you look, you will see the abundance of pink ribbons around town. It’s wonderful to see many companies and individuals coming together to help support the fight against cancer.
Love, Hope, and Pizza
Want to know how you can help? It’s simple – just buy pizza! For every pizza sold in October, Hungry Howie’s will make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. So far, they have raised over $2 million for free breast cancer screenings and breast cancer research!
With my family’s crazy schedule, picking up a pizza on the way home from work is a weekly occurrence. This campaign is wonderful because it makes it so easy to help. By bringing home a delicious pizza, you are supporting the fight against breast cancer! It’s a win-win kind of situation, and I love those 🙂
