Do you have any chocolate lovers on your Christmas list this year? I know I do! And I know they’re going to go nuts over this Chocolate Lover’s Gift Basket. Putting together this easy DIY Christmas gift basket was so much fun! I can’t wait to give it to Ella’s preschool teacher in a few weeks. Shhh…don’t tell her!
DIY Christmas Gift Idea: Chocolate Lover’s Gift Basket
For my DIY gift basket, I stopped by the thrift store down the street and found a wicker basket and adorable snowman mug. Because this is a gift for the chocolate lover, I knew I couldn’t use just any chocolate to fill the basket. It had to be special! I decided to go with authentic Swiss chocolate from Chocolat Frey®.
Not only is Chocolat Frey the #1 chocolate brand in Switzerland, but their gourmet candy uses only authentic, GMO-free ingredients including rich cocoa beans, whole roasted nuts and milk. Chocolat Frey also values the environment and supports sustainable cocoa farming that provides better opportunities for farmers and their families.
I piled my basket high with a variety of rich and delicious Chocolat Frey candies. Then to finish off this chocolate lover’s gift, I filled a small mason jar with homemade hot cocoa mix, and put mini marshmallows on top. Yummy!
Grab the recipe for homemade hot cocoa mix below. You have to try this!
